House Bill 1, passed by the 2018 General Assembly, provides some of the broadest reforms to Kentucky’s child welfare system in recent history. The bill was the result of months of bipartisan effort and agency collaboration with the goal of improving the child welfare system. The bill made numerous changes to child welfare laws and policies.

To help educate those who practice in child welfare cases, the Administrative Office of the Courts has produced a webinar on the statutory changes that resulted from House Bill 1. The webinar has been approved for .5 hours of technological credit (a CLE Form is provided in the sidebar).
