Archives & Records Department

The Archives and Records Department stores original hard copies and microfiche images of court cases. The public has access to most copies of civil circuit, criminal circuit and criminal district records through this department.

Requests for copies that are submitted by mail must include payment. Cases housed in the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives can be ordered through the Archives and Records Department. In addition, public terminals are provided for public viewing of CourtNet records.
