​Most goods and services are purchased through existing Executive Branch state price contracts. However, the AOC also issues for professional services and other court-specific needs. 

Vendor Requirements 

To do business with the Commmonwealth of Kentucky, including the Judicial Branch, vendors must be registered through the Vendor Self Service ​website. A completed Vendor Disclosure Form is also required before any contact or purchase order can be issued by the AOC. 

Business entities must be registered with the Kentucky Secretary of State ​to be eligible to register as a vendor with the Commonwealth. Foreign entities must have a Cerificate of Authority. ​​​

Finding Bidding Opportunities 

​All solicitations issued by the AOC on behalf of the KCOJ are posted on the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Vendor Self Services website. Registered vendors can use the site to search for current bidding opportunities and review recent awards.

Vendors may also sign up to receive alerts about new bidding opportunities relevant to their field of business.

​The AOC leases property needed for court operations statewide. 

Lessor Requirements

To do business with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including the Judicial Branch, lessors must be registered through the Vendor Self Service website. A completed Vendor Disclosure Form is also required before any Lease can be issued by the AOC.​​​ ​

Business entities must be registered with the Kentucky Secretary of State to be eligible to register as a vendor with the Commonwealth. Foreign entities must have a Certificate of Authority.​

Finding Leasing Opportunities 

Property owners interested in leasing space for the use of courts, court programs, or other Judicial Branch offices should monitor local newspapers for invitations to lease space issued by the AOC.

​Retired judges and clerks who participate in the Temporary Assignment of Retired Judges Program or Temporary Assignment of Retired Clerks Program are paid as vendors of the Commonwealth rather than as employees. Each program participant must complete a W-9 form and submit it to Procurement@kycourts.net to be established as a vendor in the Commonwealth’s accounting system before payment can be made.
