Driver's Licensing: Effective July 1, 2022, all driver’s license services have moved from the Offices of Circuit Court Clerk to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. More at drive.ky.gov.
Payment options: You can pay online through ePay. You can pay by drop box to the left of the Henderson County Judicial Center's front enterance (checked Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m.) with a local personal check or money order made payable to the Henderson Circuit Clerk (no cash in drop box.) If you're paying for multiple cases by drop box, please indicate which case the payment is to be applied to by including case number and name of defendant. You can pay in-person at the Payment Window in the Office of Circuit Court Clerk with cash, money order, certified check, local personal check,credit ($2,500 limit - per transaction) or debit card. Payment with credit/debit card includes a processing fee.
Bond: Cash only, Driver's License or Kentucky I.D. required - social security number is required.
Probation Fees: Cash and credit/debit payments (cards include processing fee) must be made in person. Checks and money order not accepted. P.I.D. # required.
Parking: Three hour parking on Main Street in front of Judicial Center. Unrestricted parking on Washington Street just South of the Judicial Center. Designated parking in front of the Judicial Center on Main Street for those with disability parking permit.
Accessibility: Ramp on south side in front of Judicial Center. Elevator inside.
Self-Representative Portals: The Henderson Circuit Clerk's Office has two Self-Representative Litigant portals (SRL) stations. Individuals who are representing themselves as a Pro-Se litigant may utalize these SRL computer/printer stations to assist them in their work.
Requesting Older Court Records
15-35 years old: Request records from the State Records Center by submitting this form to state.records@ky.gov. Case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled. 36+ years old: Request records from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives here. For cases filed on or after Jan. 1, 1978, case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled.
