Motions to be heard in District Court must be filed by Thursday the week prior to hearing.
Circuit Court: Criminal at 9:00 a.m., Civil at 1:00 p.m.

In order to ensure proper notice to all parties, no matter will be docketed, except by leave of court, within 5 business days of the scheduled hearing. For example, a matter to be heard Thursday, it must be filed with the clerk, the preceding Thursday to meet the requirement.

Driver's Licensing: Effective July 1, 2022, all driver’s license services have moved from the Offices of Circuit Court Clerk to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. More at drive.ky.gov.
Payment options: Fines, costs and bonds can be payed with cash, cashier check's or money order. Cash required for bond. Pay online with ePay.

15-35 years old: Request records from the State Records Center by submitting this form to state.records@ky.gov. Case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled. 36+ years old: Request records from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives here. For cases filed on or after Jan. 1, 1978, case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled.
