Supreme Court and State Law Library Temporary Location Information
The Supreme Court of Kentucky's Capitol offices, the Supreme Court Clerk's Office and the State Law Library will open at their temporary home at 669 Chamberlin Ave. in late June 2025 after moving from the Capitol. The Capitol is closing for a multiyear renovation. More information is available on the Supreme Court webpage.
Lincoln County Judicial Center closed June 16-20, 2025
The Lincoln County Judicial Center at 101 E. Main St. in Stanford will be closed June 16-20 for remediation of water-damaged drywall and ceilings due to roof leaks that are scheduled for repair. The Office of Circuit Court Clerk will temporarily be housed at the Court Designated Worker/Specialty Courts building at 113 E. Main St., where filings will be accepted as usual for documents that are not required to be eFiled. District Court proceedings scheduled for June 16 will be rescheduled, and parties will be notified via mail of new court dates. Family Court on June 18 will take place via Zoom. All others who have cases scheduled before the courts should visit or call the circuit court clerk’s office at 606-365-2535 to discuss rescheduling.
Franklin County Court Temporary Location Information
As of Monday, June 2, Franklin County court operations will temporarily move to 1001 Vandalay Drive. The site is located on the campus of the Administrative Office of the Courts and formerly housed Home Depot. Many criminal court proceedings will continue at the Franklin County Regional Jail, 400 Coffee Tree Road.
The Franklin County Courthouse at 222 St. Clair St. remains closed as flood remediation continues. No court business is taking place at that location. For more information on court operations and proceedings, visit the
