The Bath County Judicial Center

The Bath County Judicial Center Project was authorized by the General Assembly in 2018. The maximum annual use allowance was $1.2 million.

The project was completed March 2026. The Bath County Judicial Center is a two-story facility that houses all court services for Bath County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk's office and statewide programs.

The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the third Monday of the month. PDB members include Forrest McKenzie, David Barber, Don Blair, Claudette Faudere, Steve Calvert and Leslie R. Smith. The Bath County PDB selected Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects to provide design services and Codell Construction Company to provide construction management services for the project. Compass Municipal is the financial advisor.
