The Caldwell County Judicial Center was authorized by the General Assembly in 2024. The maximum annual use allowance is $2.8 million. The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in 2030/2031. The Caldwell County Judicial Center will house all court services for Caldwell County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk's office and statewide programs.
The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the first Monday of the month. PDB members include W.D. Young and Vice Chair, Caldwell Circuit Court Clerk, Christie Storm. The Caldwell County PDB selected Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects to provide design services. Currently, there is no construction management or financial advisor assigned.
