The Jessamine County Judicial Center Project was authorized by the General Assembly in 2020. The maximum annual use allowance is $48 million.
The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in 2028. The Jessamine County Judicial Center will be a three-story facility that houses all court services for Jessamine County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk’s office and statewide programs.
The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the first Thursday of the month. PDB members include David K. West, Doug Fain, Hunter Daugherty, Bill Oliver, Martin East and Paul "Sankey" Bingham. The Jessamine County PBD selected Brandstetter Carroll to provide designing services and WEHR Constructors to provide construction management. RSA Advisors serves as the financial advisor.
