The Scott County Judicial Center Project was authorized by the General Assembly in 2020. The maximum annual use allowance was $4 million.
The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in early 2027. The Scott County Judicial Center will be a three-story facility that houses all court services for Scott County, including circuit and district court, the circuit court clerk's office and statewide programs.
The Project Development Board (PDB) meets on the second Tuesday of the month. PDB members include Joe Pat Covington and Judge Jeremy Mattox. The Scott County PDB selected Brandsletter Carroll Inc. to provide design services and Trace Creek Construction Inc. to provide construction management services. Compass Municipal is the financial advisor.
