Court schedules subject to change.
Circuit Court: Friday, 9:30 a.m. Jury trials scheduled by judge.
District Court: Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. Third Wednesday reserved for jury trials.
Family Court: Alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 a.m.
No food, drinks, tobacco or weapons (includes pocket knives) permitted in court. Cell phones must be set to silent and cannot be used in courtrooms.

Payment Options: Cash, cashier's checks, money orders, personal in-state checks and credit and debit cards (fee applies). Cash required for bond, restitution and returned checks. Driver's license or state-issued photo ID required when posting bond and picking up released bond. Personal in-state checks must include the person's Social Security number, date of birth and phone number. Payments should be to Gallatin Circuit Court Clerk.

Requesting Older Court Records
15-35 years old: Request records from the State Records Center by submitting this form to state.records@ky.gov. Case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled. For contact information, click here and scroll down to Find a Court/Circuit Court Clerk by County.
36+ years old: Request records from the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives here. For cases filed on or after Jan. 1, 1978, case and locator numbers must be provided; request those from the Office of Circuit Court Clerk in the county where the case was handled.
